bigfern Posted February 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2006 I know there's limited television on-board, but can anyone tell me if they get an ABC affiliate? I have to get my "Grey's Anatomy" fix for the week and I don't want to trust the VCR with such a precious commodity . . .

StacyandTim Posted February 7, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 7, 2006 Sorry, I just can't live without my TiVo....my shows will all be recorded next week while I'm away, then when I get home, Sunday will be a marathon "make-up" day! :p
bjr928 Posted February 8, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2006 I agree with Stacy about the TIVO - I don't know how I managed before it..... but, yes, the Elation does have an ABC feed in the rooms! :D
brandypants Posted February 8, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 8, 2006 I know what you mean about TiVo, it's amazing how fast you get spoiled...now if Carnival only had Fox network....I can't wait until the end of the cruise!!
huskerdude Posted February 8, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 8, 2006 I'm not totally certain but I think once you get out to sea you don't much of any "regular" tv programs. They had a couple of ship information channels and a couple of movie channels. We really did not watch a whole lot of TV, we had better things to do.:D
MeLuvDaSea Posted February 8, 2006 #7 Share Posted February 8, 2006 I can't believe we're having this discussion. Watch TV on a cruise??? I guess we're different somehow. Our TV quit working a month ago and we have yet to replace the thing... "Let's see, plasma, LCD, DLP -oh heck, let's try again next week"

bigfern Posted February 8, 2006 Author #9 Share Posted February 8, 2006 Thank you for the info - now I can set my VCR & not freak if our electricity goes off while we're gone (we live in rural Oklahoma & that happens a lot!).
