I have read that some cruise lines are not going allow passengers to board their ships who have had the Coronavirus.

Does anyone know what MSC policy is regarding this issue please?

Worried cruiser.

I haven't heard anything about any cruise line setting rules for when they start up again.

I suspect cruise lines are going to do whatever they can to keep the covid-19 virus off their ships, in line with changing scientific guidance:, some general ideas:

- temperature/health checks on boarding

- doctors certificate showing no covid-19 infection in the last 4 days

- travel bans from hotspots

- show app on smartphone to demonstrate not in contact with infected people the last 2 weeks.

- quick testing facilities on boarding

I cannot see any reason why passengers would be refused if they had previously had covid-19, as long as they are no longer infectious.
