djd1023 Posted February 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2006 The sites for the ATV tour excursions say that the operator must be 16 to drive the ATVs. Does anyone know how strict they are with that rule. My daughter is 15, has her own ATV, and can ride rings around me. DOes anyone know if she will be able to drive her own ATV on one of these tours? solita Posted February 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2006 No she will not. Strict Mexican insurance laws. Of course, you might find an independent outfit that doesn´t have insurance that will let her but I wouldn´t. The law actually states 16 with valid drivers license, not a learners permit just in case anyone is curious.
