Great Barrier Reef cruise - Port or Starboard?

Hi all.  I just booked a Lido deck cabin on the Splendor for a 10 day Great Barrier Reef cruise out of Sydney.  We usually stay on the port side, but as I've never been to Australia I wanted to see what you guys thought?  There are a few cabins left on starboard so any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Take the rooms that are left if ship selling out.

I do not think one side is better than the other since it is best to move around on ship anyways.

I too am hoping to see Australia in Oct 2021 since my Nov 2020 is mostly like going to be cancelled to NZ.

Most ports are tender ports, The only docking ports will be proberably Gladstone & of Course Sydney. If in Sydney Port would be the prefered. As your cabin would be looking towards Opera house & not city buildings, in gladstone you will be facing city not ocean,,,
