Stingray Sandbar vs. Stingray City

As the previous poster mentioned, most of the excursions go to the Sandbar with is about waist deep and very friendly to children. Stingray City is about 10-15 feet deep and is typically reserved for scuba diving excursions to see the rays. I've have the opportunity to dive once at Stingray City and visit twice at the Sandbar. I actually prefer the Sandbar since you can stand, touch and even hold the stingrays. It is so much fun hearing the people squeal as the rays rub past there legs. I plan to go back this summer. It is an incredible experience that should not be missed on a stop at Grand Cayman.
