Rare MVPinBoynton Posted May 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2004 If you are stopping at Livorno, Florence has a bunch of leather stores. It is hard to resist. cruisintwinsmom Posted May 13, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 13, 2004 We'll be in both Florence and Barcelona, which would have the best prices? Thanks.
MSBYRDY Posted May 14, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 14, 2004 If you do the Amalfi Coast, we found some great stuff in Sorrento. Marilyn
dbh62ark Posted May 14, 2004 #7 Share Posted May 14, 2004 Barcelona has better prices, but I like the Italian leather better. I also agree that Florence (around the Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo) are the best places to shop for leather, but you will find it all through the Tuscany region and in Rome and Venice. cipi2000 Posted May 15, 2004 #9 Share Posted May 15, 2004 Look in Peter Greenberg's book, The Travel Detective. I believe he lists the specific stores to shop in Rome, Venice, Florence and Barcelona.
