juliecat Posted February 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2006 Can anyone tell me the contents of the coupon books being offered with certain Celebrity cruises? Thanks
flashdog_1 Posted February 11, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2006 The books are basically worthless. They will be a % off on a spa treatment which is still more than if you book a special while on board, photo folder if you buy a photo package, perhaps a buy one get one free drink which will be used!, some casino $1 off. Nothing to make you book with that particular agent, for sure. If you can get free trip insurance or a shipboard credit thru an online agent, that might be worth using them for booking. DancerOT Posted February 11, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2006 I have never gotten buy one get one drink coupons. What I have received is alpha capsule with spa treatment, $12 worth of coins for slots for $10 and $5 matchplays for the tables in the casino. I think there was also a coupon for free manicure or something with certain spa treatments.

Sky Sweet Posted February 12, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2006 I have never gotten buy one get one drink coupons. What I have received is alpha capsule with spa treatment, $12 worth of coins for slots for $10 and $5 matchplays for the tables in the casino. I think there was also a coupon for free manicure or something with certain spa treatments. I have, also, received similar coupons from the Captain's Club during a cruise. However, it appears the OP is referring to the coupon books that Celebrity gives to travel agents, and they in turn use as a marketing tool. ocngypz Posted February 12, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 12, 2006 The coupon I use is buy a glass of house wine, get one free. Most of the bartenders have let me use them for my champagne cocktails. I don't remember the others offhand as they are all in the office.. and I am at home trying to figure out how I'll get down my hill of a driveway so I can get to the office! I NEED A CRUISE!
