Tiger Shark Posted February 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2006 Just received our docs today, but I'm not dancing. I know for a fact there is an earlier flight, direct, for the same price, from the same airline that Carnival booked us with. But instead they have us on a later flight with a layover, and what seems like unnecessary stress before and after a nice mini-vacation. Is it possible to convince Carnival to change us to the flight we would prefer? And if so, how much are we likely to be charged for this convenience? wrp96 Posted February 11, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2006 On RCI, it's called custom air, Carnival probably calls it a deviation. I know RCI it costs $50 plus the difference in the airfare. The earlier, direct flight is probably a lot more expensive (at least for Carnival) than your later flight with connections. It can't hurt to call and ask though.
