Beach on your own in Nassau?

I've been to Nassau before and done the historic habor tour and Atlantis dig so I'm looking for something new to do. Can anyone recommend a clean beach that we can just take a cab to on our own? Can we use the beach at Atlantis or is that for guests only?

How about the Marriott's beach, can cruisers use that beach?

All the beaches are public so you can use any of them. The public entrance to the Atlantis beach is next to the Sheraton. We were there a few weeks ago and the weather was a little iffy so we went to the British Colonial Hilton for the day. It's about a 10 minute walk from the pier. For $30 we got chairs, towels & umbrellas for the four of us. The beach is small but not crowded. Senor Frog's is right next door too. It's not exactly a secluded beach but our kids (4 & 7) enjoyed it. Also, greetings from another central Ohioan (Pickerington)!
