Conquest - Need A Coat?

Looks like freezing temps in Houston tonight. Forcast for 28 degrees Sunday morning. Could be a little frosty in Galveston, hope it wams up by sailaway.

Looks like you will need one (coat) tomorrow. We did Xmas '04 on Conquest & the car still had snow on it from the very rare snow storm in Galveston. So it does happen & I didn't have a coat. Always leave one in car now.

LOL, in '03 sailing from Port Canavril, we were complaining @ the 50 degrees there. Being from Canada, we wanted it to be HOT. At the airport to go home we met a couple from mid state NY. They asked that it must be really cold "up there", about 150 miles north of them, not far, and have a lot of snow. Well I told them, and this was the truth, when we left home, we had less snow and was warmer than their home. Gee they changed the topic.

Great question! We're arriving in Galveston on March 2nd...what would the normal temp be for early March? Not sure what to pack...

Being a Native Texan there is one thing you can be sure of - The weather is subject to change in the blink of an eye. One minute you can be in a coat -- next minute you could be looking for that bathing suit!!
