Cruise Care insurance with Celebrity

Has anyone had to make a claim using this insurance with Celebrity, like for lost or damaged luggage? What experiences do you have with it and how would you rate it

Probably the first rule of buying cruise insurance is not to buy the insurance from the cruise line..get a third party insurance. Cruise line insurance doesn't cover nearly as much as a third party insurance. Plus, the cruise line insurance has very strict limitations on luggage reimbursement. If you lose your luggage, what they will only reimburse will only pay for replacemet of your bag, if it's a more expensive bag.

I have not had to make a claim...so I cannot comment on that issue.

But, what I can say is that the Celebrity insurance is very expensive compared to other options.
