Docs question

I will be making my final payment next week.I was wondering if you book direct from Carnival, what is the earliest I will receive my docs? I know that the norm is about 2weeks before departure. I just want to know since I booked direct, will I get them sooner?

We are leaving on the Sensation in 84 days, but we are spending 2 days precruise in Tampa!

So, what is the soonest to get docs??

I have read other people here saying they called Carnival and requested the docs and they were sent on to them -sometimes a month or two in advance of the cruise.

If you booked air thru Carnival it may take longer...usually about 2 weeks before departure. Otherwise about 2-4 weeks before departure.

Thanks! I will request my docs when I make final payment next week. We are driving to Tampa from north Middle TN. Luckily according to yahoo maps, it is not as far as Port Canaveral was. Either way, it is about a 12hour drive. Fortunately we are driving and cruising with another couple and are going to have a blast!! (that is if we aren't thrown off the ship [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img]) Just kidding.

I can't wait. BTW, yesterday I heard an oldie called Cruisin" I thought it was funny.
