Best beach for family fun

Okay...looking for the full family package :) Sand, water fun, food, adult beverages, some shade would be great.

Any suggestions out there? I've read a ton of threads but I'm now just confused. Is Maya Palms Resort for us or should we go with one of the beach packages? If so, which one? Should we pre-book or just wait until we get there (april)?

Also, do we really need to be worried about jelly fish all that much?

Thanks for the input!

We did Maya Palms thru Islandmarketing.com It was great, 13 of us from age 2 - 40. Relaxing, no crowds, good food and drinks. Lots of shade and chairs and such. Very friendly staff, do as little or as much as you like. The pool was a nice change from the saltwater-filled ones on the ship.

We didn't see any jellyfish. Good luck on making your decision, this was most def. the right one for us.
