Panama Canal Cruise

Sort of off the subject, but if you really like seeing lock activity,  take a river cruise. You go through many locks. And still my favorite Canal cruise was the Kiel Canal on the Prinsendam.  I think there are still a few smaller cruise ships making this trip.

The cruise on the Porto River was really neat.  The cruise repeats the locks so you go through them twice.  The scenery for the vineyards is beautiful.  I don't know what i was expecting, but was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this cruise was.
