Rainforest Tours Belize

Wow you go pretty soon. You might check out taking a private tour of part of the Indian Creek Trail through the guides at the Monkey Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. It connects 3 parks and is 16 miles long, so you could only do a section of it, maybe the part through the "lush and dense riparian forest" around Indian Creek, and you'd see some caves there too. Here's a link:

http://www.monkeybaybelize.org/do.html and you could email Matthew at:

MBay@BTL.net He is prompt and thorough at responding. It should cost the same as tubing, about $60 p.p. w/o lunch. He's pick you up at the pier.

There are also some nice easy trails at the Guanacaste National Park, an Audubon Society park. http://www.belizeaudubon.org/html/parks/gnp.htm

We did a private tour and had a guide all to ourselves so we could go where we wanted to and for how long. We went through the rainforest and visited a cave. It was about $85.00 per person (4 of us) but well worth it. He was totally flexible to do what we wanted. Go to www.****************.com and tell them what you would like to do.
