As Popeye’s buddy would say “ I will gladly pay you next Tuesday for a hamburger today.” What a company prefers is “ why don’t you pay me today for that hamburger next Tuesday!”

Thanks, that helps to explain why the cruise lines are in no hurry to refund deposits on canceled cruises.

Presently, deposits are being returned fairly quickly ( 10 - 14 days).....we received our last canceled cruise deposit in 5 days.  I would say Oceania is not slowing down the refund process.  A year ago when the pandemic hit, it was a different story but in the last few months, Oceania has been pretty quick.

Good to know.  I was just going by a disclaimer that said it could take 60 days.   Not an issue for me. It's been 12 days so can expect it any day now.
