Restaurant.com - especially in Ft. Lauderdale

Does anyone know anything about the restaurants listed

on restaurant.com under the Ft. Lauderdale vicinity?

I have used this website here locally, but I am

just wondering about some of these in FLL for our

pre-cruise stay there in June.

If you sign up for their mailing list, you get emails all

the time for 50 - 60% off their already reduced rates.

For example, last time I ordered, the gift cert. is worth

$25. The price on there is $10, so it ended up costing

me $4 with my 60% off. Not bad. You just have to read

the fine print because some charge an automatic gratutity

and other things like that.

I hope this link will work. If not, you can just

go to http://www.restaurant.com and search for the FLL

vicinity.

Thanks!

What about Restaurants in Hollywood beach? I will be there later in Nov with my 6 year old daughter, 16 year old neice, and mom? I am also looking for a great hotel at a great rate on that beach. Any suggestions???

I fell in love with this beach when me and my sis in law were there after a cruise in 01.

Thank you so much!!

Marriott Hollywood Beach recently opened where the old Howard Johnsons was. Great location and the hotel restaurant is spectacular. ;)

I did not realize what the Marriott was charging these days. A year ago when they opened they we $159 a night.

There's a lot of clean, safe, 'mom and pop' hotels that offer oceanfront lodging along the broadwalk. Granted they don't compare with a room at the Marriott but they are a viable alternate. ;)

Danysmom: there are great restaurants all along the beach in Hollywood. All of them have their menu's printed outside, (with the prices) so you can walk along and choose. Also good, (but in FL) is the Bahia Mar....right on the intercoastal...casual, inexpensive. It's also the stop for the water taxi. Also along with the water taxi route is Shooters....a fun place with decent food. Enjoy!
