Dining - basic question apologies!

The classic dining on my U.K. cruise is 5.30 to 7 and then 7.30 to 9 (roughly).
Is MSC like other cruise lines where everyone in each sitting arrives and eats together at 5.30 or 7.30 or are you allocated a time between the 2 e.g. for late sitting a dining time between 7.30 and 9.
I’d like to dine at 7.30 but 8.30 would be too late.
Thanks and apologies if it’s been asked before I did do a search. 😀

Unless you have Aurea or YC cabins where you'll get mostly free dining schedule, on MSC it is almost always a fixed set time, meaning that all eat at same time, though they'll to give you a 15 minutes tolerance time to arrive. So for your sailings it works that:

1st seating enters from 5:30 to 5:45.

2nd seating enters from 7:30 to 7:45.

Do note that on these covidical days, they're adjusting their time frames according to the expected capacity.

Hope to have helped a little bit and have a nice day!...
