doctrd Posted February 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2006 I finally have a way to share my video's online. This is my underwater video taken at various places on cruises over the years. Some shots at Stingray City, and many of the other fish scenes taken at the reef near stingray city. Need a high speed connection, hope you enjoy! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5005844090712789241

crusdiva Posted February 19, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 19, 2006 Thank you so much that was awesome! I'm so glad I found it. I wonder if you can help me out with something? I have been looking to make a video of DH's recent dives in St. Thomas and St. Maarten as a surprise for his birthday. I am using Comcast Photo Show and have been trying to use "Under the Sea" as the music (it's just the best, isn't it) but Photo Show only accepts MP3 format. Is your version an MP3? If so where did you get it? Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.
drew sailbum Posted February 19, 2006 #7 Share Posted February 19, 2006 I assume that you are pulling your source file for your music, Under the Sea, direct from a CD? If so it will copy onto your computer in WAV format. Go to http://cd-to-mp3.audiolaunch.com/cd-ripper/ and download one of the utilities. I use CDex. Use it to convert the WAV file into a MP3 file, then proceed with using your Comcast Photo Show.

doctrd Posted February 21, 2006 Author #9 Share Posted February 21, 2006 Crusdiva: Mine was an MP3, and don't report me, but I downloaded the song in MP3 format. As previous poster has said, if you already have the song it can be converted with many different programs. The program I used to make the video accepts WAV and MP3 files, so I could have used either one. I used an older version of this program, just ordered this new one: http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/Products/Consumer+Products/Home+Video/Studio+Family Check out your program to see if it has any color correction as an option. If not, most of the underwater shots look blue, with little color. I always color correct the video's and photos before printing, makes a HUGE difference. In my photos on this site, I give a sample of before and after color correction. http://community.webshots.com/album/67416702jMsYEU
crusdiva Posted February 21, 2006 #10 Share Posted February 21, 2006 doctrd, Thank you so much. It wasn't the video that was the problem as much as it was the audio. I did download a program that converts practically all audio files to MP3 - I'm working on it now with about 5 hours left! Thanks again for the help and sharing your video.
