Cabins Above Lifeboats

On the Summit in August to Alaska and was wondering about our cabin. We are on the Penthouse deck in cabin 6086 and with a balcony. The lifeboats are on the entertainment deck below us. Will this obstruct our view or affect pictures we might want to take from our balcony? Any information is appreciated. Thanks:)

We were one or two decks above lifeboats and can't say that it obstructed our view. Yes, you could not look directly down into the water from your balcony but we took plenty of pics w/o a problem. I was trying to paste a pic here but it says its too large.

You will be able to see out and a little angle down but no straight down view.

 

Been there on different ship, done that. Not again. I am one of those that it bothers. I like to look straight down and straight out. It does not bother many people so you have to decide what you like.
