hac82 Posted February 16, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2006 We are sailing on Explorer July 14th. We are considering this excursion which will leave Great Bay in the direction of Simpson Bay, then to Friars Bay, then French lowlands area (ocean-side) at high-speed to the Baie Nettle, then to Castaway Beach for some beach time before returning to the ship. Has anyone done this excursion? I am interested on the feedback especially comparing this to the America's Cup Regatta Excursion. I did post this in the Ports of Call section but did not get any repsonses.

NengEuis Posted February 22, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2006 I'm interested as well, and would like to know if it would be a good excursion for DD (3), or if we should pick another.
JeffHatfield Posted February 22, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 22, 2006 We are looking at that one also. We have done the Americas Cup and it was a blast, but alot of work too.
Karencruiser43 Posted February 26, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 26, 2006 Can't help you with the Thriller ride in St. Maarten, but did this excursion in Belize last year and had a blast. It wasn't too wild, and would definitely do it again. Have fun. Hope this helps.
premiumrican Posted February 26, 2006 #7 Share Posted February 26, 2006 Did the Thriller in Aruba. It was a great ride!!! It felt like riding a rollercoaster but on water. They really took us out far into the open waters. I would do it again.
