So,how far in advance do you make dining reservations for specialty restaurants? We never ate in any before but thought now with two 10 day cruises booked for February and March of 2022 we would consider it.

As far as you like. You can always cancel them for a refund if you change your mind. Same goes for the package (although I don't believe you can cancel the package once on board).

Thanks DCPIV. I’m getting right on it!

Right on.

Yes, that's just a little tip with the cruise planner. You may have to pay when you book the reservation, package, excursion, etc., but there's no commitment until it closes a day or two before the cruise. You always can cancel for a full refund.

Yes, "zitsky" -- multiple times.

They have always been available at a table, near Guest Relations, on Embarkation Day (at least on Silhouette, Reflection, Equinox, Solstice, and Summit).

We have never believed the claim that there are only a "limited number of packages available."  We think that such a claim is just another falsehood, like the kind of fib that so many merchants use to sell to fearful suckers ("This is for a limited time only!" and the like).

.

Especially the way they bug you crazy trying to sell you packages from the time you board!

There was no such bazaar on our Summit sailing last week. If there were packages available, you probably had to ask about it.
