msred3041 Posted February 16, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2006 I saw a video that showed the stingray city tour. I cannot remember where I saw it. If any of you have a video of this tour, please send it to me. The one I saw had the passengers go off the boat and the water was waist deep. I was telling a member about it on my CB May 20-27 about it. She wants to show it to her husband. Any help will be appreciated.

okiemom Posted February 17, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 17, 2006 That was absolutely awesome! My mom is going with us and doesn't swim really well. She was scared that this would not be a good excursion for her but when she sees the depth of the water and that she can stand without getting her face under water, she will be thrilled. Thank you so much for sharing!:)

Sheffie Posted February 17, 2006 #7 Share Posted February 17, 2006 It's one of the things everyone should do before they die. Yes it is that good. I agree. It is up there in my top 10 list. So are the Grand Canyon, Alps, and America's Cup Regatta. It is that good!

roysue Posted February 18, 2006 #9 Share Posted February 18, 2006 MSRED 3041 - My husband and I went to the Stingray City in Grand Cayman. I was also worried because my husband cannot swim and is afraid of the water. The water is indeed about waist deep. We all had a ball! It is definitely worth doing and I wouldn't worry about the non-swimmers - all they need to do is stand up. And there are flotation devices available for those who like that extra safety - Enjoy! Sheffie Posted February 19, 2006 #10 Share Posted February 19, 2006 Here is a picture from our excursion. As you can see, the water wasn't very deep at the sandbar. The shadows under the water are the stingrays. It is sooooooo exciting to be in the water with them!
