On ship photos

We usually buy the welcome aboard photo taken on boarding, but we understand that will no longer take place.  Has anyone dealt with the photo department?  Are they taking pictures?

If you will read though the Live threads by those who are or were on a cruise, there is a wealth of information.  No boarding or port pictures are being taken.  Pictures at night on the ship are still being taken and they took pictures at Glacier Bay up on deck.  Majestic Princess has the new computerized pictures - printed pictures are not made and set out like before, but you look at your pictures and buy those as digital copies or printed.  That is what I read over the last three cruises in the Live threads, but things change...
