Adjoining veranda cabins on Zuiderdam?

Has anyone been in an adjoining, veranda stateroom on the Zuiderdam?

There are usually 2 long closets and one smaller (with shelves and safe) in a Veranda cabin.

Do you lose a closet where the adjoining doors are located? ie. have only 2 cupboards rather than 3

We just had a n adjoining cabin on the Nieuw Amsterdam, very similar to the Zuiderdam cabinwise. We had regular closet space, i.e. 3 full closets.

As an FYI, adjoining means next door to each other. 

 

Connecting rooms have inner doors so that the inhabitants of each of those cabins do not have to go out into the hallway to access each others' rooms.

If you want to nitpic: connecting cabins could also mean those where you can open the balcony divider between two cabins! 😄. 
 

it is all about context; I think most people know that just about all cabins adjoin others.

We cruised on the Zuiderdam on 2010. My parents were in the cabin next door. We had the room steward open the door between the balconies. That worked out perfectly for us.

I was just directed to HALfacts.com where I found photos of a Zuiderdam connecting Veranda Stateroom! Just what I was looking for!  Thanks to all for the help!

Connecting door is beyond the closets and they are just like all cabins. Veranda dividers can be partially opened.

Can you get the connecting doors to stay open with the use of a door stop?  I saw a picture and it looked like there was a hydralic on the top of the door. Also, is there room for the door to stay in the open position?  This would be on a verandah stateroom on the Zuiderdam.
