nwcruiselover Posted September 4, 2021 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2021 I was told by the Cruise Director on the Miracle last week that Behind the Fun tours have been discontinued for the time being.

new_cruiser_75 Posted October 3, 2021 Author #4 Share Posted October 3, 2021 Any luck with this yet??? I'm assuming "no" but still hoping we can do this on our Nov cruise as it's such a great experience 🤞
mondello Posted October 3, 2021 #5 Share Posted October 3, 2021 (edited) They no longer do the galley tour as part of the Chef's Table. Same situation with Behind The Fun, they no longer want to accommodate guests where they don't need to be any more than they have to. They will bring it back as soon as they feel there is no longer a threat to the health of crew or guests. FTTF and Behind The Fun is pure revenue for Carnival. I've done the tour on every Carnival cruise I've taken and always learned something new, but the Vista's Engineering Control Room was absolutely amazing. With all the digital displays and a digital "chart-table" that showed us things like a live underwater view of one of the azipods, it looked just like a starship's bridge.
mondello Posted October 4, 2021 #7 Share Posted October 4, 2021 @Pellaz my son is now old enough that it is worthwhile to finally book things like Chef's Table and Behind The Fun. We have 5 day B2Bs on Valor next July, so maybe they'll be offering them soon. I agree it would be nice to get a tour behind the curtain.
zzdoug Posted October 5, 2021 #8 Share Posted October 5, 2021 Am I the only one who thinks "Behind the Fun" sounds like the name of either a horror movie or a documentary expose' on labor practices?
