Did you do an Alaska cruise in 2021? Questions about dress code

We have  never sailed Holland America before.  For anyone who did an Alaska cruise in 2021, can you tell me what the dress requirements are for dinner in the dining room?  In the Holland description it says "no distressed jeans" so I'm not clear if we can wear nicer dark-wash blue jeans or black jeans at night?  If there is a "fancy night" on the cruise, how fancy is it?  Are people required to dress up or would business-casual be accepted?  Just trying to avoid having to pack a lot of clothes if we can.

I cruised twice to Alaska this year with Holland America and both times were extremely casual. Alaska has always been casual but I found this year to be even more so. Business Casual would truly be acceptable for both of the Gala night which are on Sunday and Thursday.

Most definitely even on the Gala Nights but not as many.
