Have taken out covid insurance with mcs for upcoming cruise later this month on Seaview , just wondering is the pdf of insurance policy sent is the actual policy or is is there one emailed with the cruise tickets .

Iinformation should come emailed with your cruise tickets after you complete the check-in information within 20 days of sailing. On our cruise in August a "certificate" showing purchase came in that package of information and then a separate email had 20+ pages or so of terms, conditions, exclusions, etc regarding the insurance itself.

just looking at insurance now but bit confused as to what we need?

is it normal cruise cover but also Covid-19 on top, i've got quotes for around £35 bit not sure if that's the right cover

any advice appreciate and we are UK passengers

We have our normal travel insurance but we also took out MSC  covid insurance @ 25  euro. From what i believe any insurance will do once it includes covid cover.
