diggerhawk Posted May 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2004 I need to decide today which cruise to book -- The Glory - 7 days sailing out of Port Canaveral going to Nassau, St. Thomas and St. Marteen of the Legend - 8 days sailing out of New York going to San Juan, St. Thomas and Tortola/Virgin Gorda. I want to know the difference between the ships and I heard that sailing from New York you felt the motion a lot more being in the Atlantic ocean and not in the caribbean. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Wendy
CruiseFever Posted May 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Well we sure did like the Legend..two times! The 8 day itinerary is wonderful, you'd be surprised how much that extra one day means. Here's more: http://www.lifeiscruising.com/legend Happy Cruising Chris www.LifeIsCruising.com Next up: Caribbean Princess 06/26/04 Star Princess 10/24/04 Diamond Princess 12/22/04 Carnival Miracle 03/13/
cantw82cruise Posted May 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Well for me it would be the Legend, I think the Glory is to big. I love the spirt class ships. I have never sailed out of New York or on the Atlantic so I can't help you there. I think port wise there is no advantage to either itinerary if the cost is about the same go for the 8 days.
