COVID 19 insurance UK

Hi everyone, first time MSC cruiser here. We are going on the January 11 Northern European 7 night cruise from Southampton. I’m just so confused about the covid 19 insurance.
 

I booked the cruise 3 weeks ago with a deposit, didn’t get an actual confirmation until 2 weeks ago. I was going to purchase the covid 19 add on insurance from Europ Assistance as emailed to me by MSC but noticed it says cancellation cover isn’t included if it’s purchased more than 3 days from when you booked the cruise??! It’s on the little green question mark next to “date of booking” 

 

I called MSc they said call the insurer, so I did. They said email the details over and they will confirm. The insurer then said speak to MSc!! So neither will actually tell me what to do?? It gives me a quote if I put in the purchase date. I also saw someone bought this cover at the actual port on YouTube. It’s stressing me out a bit I don’t want to be denied.
