Dining rooms on the Edge

In January I will be on the Edge for the first time. Since there are multiple dining rooms for main dining how do you know where you will be dining? Do you need to make reservations? Thanks.

If you have a set time for dining (it'll be on your reservation), you'll be assigned to a dining room.  If you have celebrity select, you can go to any of the four.  I made reservations, but found they were not needed.  We walked right up and they sat us.  Keep in mind, it was 5:30 when we ate, so it could be different later in the evening.
