PCR testing turnaround time

I am getting ready for my 12/4/21 cruise and scheduled my covid test.  I could not find a CVS in my Tampa area that was offering the rapid test, so I signed up for a PCR( 2 days before I depart).   The website states that it's a 1-2 day turnaround for results, but in the fine print it states that if there is a surge in covid cases, it may take up to 5 days for results.

Has anyone had a PCR test where the results took longer than 1 to 2 days?

We took the CVS PCR test on a Thursday at noon and received results on Saturday at about 2:00 PM

I took a PCR test from CVS on Saturday morning and received the results Sunday at 10:30 PM

We also took the PCR test at CVS on a Thrusday for a Sunday cruise (three day window back then) and got the results back on Friday. May be different depending on the state and number of test they have to process.
