hutch916 Posted February 20, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2006 Thinking about taking the Golden Princess from San Juan in April, but their brocure shows you have to be 21 to go into casino, is that true, also are they the only cruise that automatically charges $10.00 per day per person. That's pricy for a family of 4 for 7 days.

cactusrose Posted February 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2006 Yes it's ture you have to be 21 to go in the casino. Some cruise lines don't automatically charge the $10 per day, but you'll pay more for the cruise. $10 per day per person really isn't a lot when you consider it is the gratuities for all of your wait staff and the people behind the scenes that make your trip so enjoyable. lahoban Posted February 20, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2006 Carnival also charges the 10.00 a day. We felt it was more than fair. They work really hard.
luv2cruise99 Posted February 20, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 20, 2006 You do have the option of removing the $10 a day from your account and than tipping in cash an amount that you feel is appropriate.
