OBC question

Recommended Posts

Last week when I was on cruise planner trying to cancel and re-buy my drink package I noticed I had $50.00 on board credit.  I wasn't sure where that came from because I knew I was getting obc from my travel agent, but hey, I'm not going to complain!  I didn't use it at that time.  Today I went onto cruise planner and saw I still had the credit but the banner on the top of the page said it was "pre-cruise" credit.  I don't remember seeing that before and I really don't feel like canceling and re-purchasing the drink package again---does anyone know if I will lose it if I wait until I am on board to use it?
