davidkentholt Posted December 14, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2021 We have the dining package on our upcoming Oasis sailing. Is it possible to order Izumi as takeout without a reservation? We probably aren’t going to Izumi as our main meal any night since we have some people in our group that don’t like sushi and love the other speciality restaurants. However, my wife thought it might be nice to have a little snack of sushi on our balcony a couple times if they’ll give us some to go. Thanks so much! Another_Critic Posted December 14, 2021 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2021 Anthem offered takeout last week, but I don't know if was available with the UDP.
Rare BennyBrun Posted December 14, 2021 #3 Share Posted December 14, 2021 You can ask the staff at Izumi for take out and they always accommodated me. However, I never ordered raw food or any rolls with raw fish. That is just a recipe for you know what since the fridge in your cabin is most likely not cold enough to keep raw fish in a safe temperature to eat later and I certainly would not want to find out the hard way. Steeler Nation At Sea Posted December 15, 2021 #5 Share Posted December 15, 2021 (edited) Takeout sushi was available on the Harmony Transatlantic in November and there was always several orders packed and bagged to go near the host stand. I ordered it several times. It was tough to reach them by phone to order though, easier to show up and order with the host/hostess. The only issue with the "snack" idea was the open hours. 12 -2 and 6:30 to 9 so if you wanted say a happy hour sushi snack at 4 or 5, you would have to plan to get it earlier. I also took leftovers to go from when I chose to dine in. It was no problem at all. I have no idea why Oasis would be different, but, honestly can't say that they will or will not cater for to go orders.
