Guaymas & San Carlos beaches on Dec.28

Hello,

We’ll be visiting Guaymas on Dec.28.  Is it going to be too cold for swimming and snorkeling? If water is warm enough this time of the year, could you recommend any beaches?

We’d love to do some sightseeing too on the way to the beach. So I’m thinking about hiring a local taxi driver/guide.

 

Any suggestions will be very much  appreciated as I can't find enough information about this port.
