Hawaii Next Month

I notice the January 9 cruise is still on the website for booking. Is Hawaii even allowing cruise ships to dock in January? 

I assume Carnival is planning on sailing if it's still listed. With their new guidelines on missed ports, and if they can't dock, its's just a long ride over there and back.

There was a pre cruise letter that was sent out explaining the onboard changes for Miracle.  Also more importantly it advises that officials in Hawaii may choose to define “fully vaccinated” as including a booster.  The letter urges guest to get a booster as soon as possible to ensure they meet the 14 day timing to qualify as fully vaccinated.  Have not seen or heard anything about the 9th since it is too late now to get a booster to meet the 14 day requirements.

Actually it takes 4 days to cruise to Hawaii so a person boosted today may meet Hawaii's standard. Carnival does not require a booster.

That's what everyone said about our Alaska cruise in August. It was a wonderful cruise!

But, to be honest, I  wouldn't bet the house on it either.
