Thanks so much for your pictures. They are excellent. We will be on the Constellation March 11-18 with the same itinerary. Your photos really got me psyched - can't wait to go! BTW, did you have any trouble getting a dinner reservation at Ocean Liners? What do you think would be the best night to dine there? Also, any other cruise hints would be greatly appreciated!

Glad you enjoyed them. The couple we went with are capt. club members and they reserved Ocean Liners a couple weeks in advance. From what I understand it was the only night (Valentine's) that was booked 100% that week.

One thing we're glad we did was book the second dinner seating (8:30). Gave us plenty of time to relax once we returned from shore. We enjoyed drinks and watching the sun set as we left port on the aft Resort deck bar, showered and dressed for dinner, and still had time to enjoy the Martini Bar before our 8:30 seating for dinner.

Have fun on your trip!

Does Celebrity have a late night bufet each night? I was on NCL Jewel the same week --No late night buffets on the NCL line --they do have sandwiches and fruit in the casino-I have been on 3 NCl; cruises in last 2 years-prior to that I was on Celebrity Constellation -it sounds like all lines have cut back on quality of food--No Rack of lamb anylonger on NCL either

Enjoy your cruise Carole! My mother sailed from Europe to Canada on a ship named the Homeric in the late 50's. Could it be the same as the one you were on in 1968?

I'll bet it was. It is still my favorite cruise. We did 14 nights out of New York; stopped in San Juan, St. Thomas, Curacao, Caracas (actually La Guaira) and Port au Prince, Haiti. It was the epitome of luxury. Caviar served at dinner every night. We never locked our cabins, the keys were left on pegs in the hallway and the cabin steward watched them. Every single time we left the cabin, they were in to straighten. It was sheer heaven.
