Good morning.

Woke at silly o'clock; we were still progressing up the River Test.

 

Currently berthed. We have done our PCR tests ready for collection at 0700. Will breakfast shortly then back to the cabin for 0830 to await our LFT.

Glad you're having a great time. The Northern Lights Cathedral in Alta is a definite must see as is the Arctic Cathedral in Tromso.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that you will see a good display of the Northern Lights and, if you get a chance, I would go on an excursion to see them.  We saw a beautiful display of green lights from the ship in Tromso but other passengers saw a spectacular display with different colours on an excursion.

 

I'll continue to follow you on your journey.  I would love to be on this voyage to Norway; it's so beautiful in winter with lots of opportunities for great photos.

Ship is virtually empty of passengers. 37 on B2B. Grand piano being tuned. Much cleaning, mopping, movement of equipment. Empty MDR and Grill. Our removable fleece lined arctic jackets and shoe grips have been delivered. My friend's jacket is tight so he's requested a larger size.

Getting ready to greet boarding passengers.

We have a PLF to fill out for Norway. Saga have provided a 'how to' and if necessary an appointed time for assistance tomorrow. We have just completed ours in a very few minutes.

We've separately had a code Alpha just now, stretcher call for a guest on a passenger stairway 😢

Day 2 Norway leg

Sea day

 

Good morning. 

Rough out.

We made it!  All tested and aboard.  Pick-up allocated 9.:30 from near Norwich.  Brief stop at Fleet services and arrived at docks at 1:30, almost exactly same time as our daughter from near Waltham Cross.  Had a good look round the ship -did nearly 7000 steps so could justify our excellent dinner!  Beautiful ship.  Luggage rather late arriving and something of a panic so still getting settled in today.

We will look out for you!!  J

There's been a change to the TV programming. Not sure when the 'What you need to know' appeared but certainly the supercrafts pertains to this cruise 🙂
