Kimmy Posted February 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2006 Does anyone have suggestions for golfing in Cozumel? Any websites we could check-out would be great!;)
solita Posted February 22, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2006 Well, since we only have one golf course your choices are limited! Unless you like putt-putt then you have one other choice. You can go to the mainland to golf but it is a hassle. http://www.cozumelcountryclub.com.mx/
quiltsnh Posted February 23, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2006 My husband and two others played at the Country CLub of Cozumel last time we were in Coz. They very much enjoyed it and will do it again next time... They brought their shoes and rented clubs which they said were very good. A nice day was had by all.... I went to Paradise Beach and had a great day as well
cozgal Posted February 23, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2006 My DH lost alot of balls and suggests you bring your own as he said they were expensive...then again, golfing is not his forte ;)

But it is about 3 miles from downtown, 6 miles from the SSA or Puerta Maya piers. And expensive taxi ride if you go on your own.
CozSally Posted May 27, 2006 #9 Share Posted May 27, 2006 From the furthest tendering position, cab fare will be $13 for up to four passengers. Bring many golf balls. The fairways are carved out of the jungle and are somewhat narrow. If you miss the fairway, you are in crocodile-land. Don't go hunting for your ball. It's a Nicklaus designed course, said to be very good, but tough. Enjoy!
