jimphil Posted February 5, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2022 Has anyone any recent dining room menus from Discovery?
Rebel Rouser Posted February 6, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2022 (edited) Hi Jimphil, the Menus are mainly Digital now and uploaded to the phone to stop cross contamination of the "C" word. I will see if I have some from Last year from the Explorer and Discovery still lurking about? to give you an Idea. Edit, Just looked, I didn't save them. Sorry, I hope someone has some files saved somewhere. Regards RR Edited February 6, 2022 by Rebel Rouser

AlanCruise Posted February 6, 2022 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2022 (edited) Attached are a couple of menus from main dining room on Explorer a couple of weeks ago and one from the Italian menu area of the same room. Probably similar to what you will get on Discovery. On board you can connect to the Wifi (free of charge) to use the 'Navigate' app (really a web page) and download the menus each day. They will also give you a paper one when you sit down (sometimes you have to ask)/ Dinner Saturday .pdf Dinner sunday.pdf Vista Italian.pdf Edited February 6, 2022 by AlanCruise

Thanks Alan, much appreciated as I'm going on the Explorer in April. Which meals would you recommend? Any other tips?
AlanCruise Posted February 8, 2022 #6 Share Posted February 8, 2022 We ate mostly in the Main dining room, a couple of times in the Italian (which I think has a couple of different menus). The Italian Tapas restaurant also does evening sittings, but we did not try it. We didn't go for any of the paid options, but they seem to get good revues. I prefer main dining room for breakfast and got some snacks from the Pool deck when we were on board over lunch. The buffet had lots of staff around doing all the serving a couple of weeks ago - you can't serve yourself. But on the last day the allowed self service tea/coffee so that may change soon.
