Priceline in Miami Beach /Ft. Lauderdale

Price Line......where you name your own price....has anybody used that in Miami Beach area or Ft. Lauderdale Beach area?

 

I was able to get a room on a Sunday night pre-cruise for under $72 dollars at Ameri-Suiets but have not had much luck trying to get a room post cruise for a Friday and Saturday night stay. We are looking for March 17th and 18th. Any and all ideas appreciated.

 

Any other ideas?

I'd check out Betterbidding.com for hotwire possibilities. You'll pay a little more, but with a little work, you can get a good idea of what you're paying for. Other possibilities are checking into the smaller hotels in Lauderdale by the Sea on sunny.org or hotels in Hollywood

In early September last year we used Priceline and paid $50 for the Sheraton. It was really nice!

 

Not sure what prices they offer for peak season.....but it was well worth it. They even have airport transportation.

Which Sheraton did you stay at? We are staying at the Sheraton Bal Harbour the end of March. I had a heck of a time getting something reasonable and for the first time I bid on Priceline.

The Sheraton we stayed at was on Griffin Road in Dania.....I think. I'm pretty sure that's the one. I just looked online and saw that it only 3 stars, but I would've rated it higher.

 

The only "negative" thing about our stay there was that Pizza Inn took 3 hours to deliver a pizza. That's not even the hotel's fault!

We ended up getting a 2 star room on the beach in Fort lauderdale for $108 on priceline.

I bid on Priceline and got 4 rooms here for $120ea. a nite (2 nites) for springbreak. Reviews look pretty good!

I think the Hotel is Fort Lauderdale Resort Hotel and Suites anybody ever stayed there?
