rabadipscavern Posted February 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2022 I am trying to find a checklist of some sort or even somewhere on the MSC website that details all that is needed prior to embarkation.(ie Passport, Covid test, locator form, QR code?) hawkeyetlse Posted February 14, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2022 (edited) Just passport, Covid test (make sure it's the right kind and within the right time frame), and proof of recent enough vaccination/booster. They don't care about any PLF forms at the start of the cruise. Boarding pass, health form filled out that morning. Oh and proof of insurance. I always add on their Covid coverage so it doesn't even come up, but if you have third party insurance I have heard they look very carefully at the policy to make sure it covers all the Covid stuff. rabadipscavern Posted February 14, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted February 14, 2022 Thank you I guess I am driving myself crazy with the EU digital Coivd pass. I keep reading that you need to pay to get your CDC card converted to a EU QR code. But how do you do that before getting on a the ship.
hawkeyetlse Posted February 15, 2022 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2022 You don't need the EU pass to get on the ship. They will accept your CDC card. And you will probably be fine with just your CDC card for stuff on shore, it just makes things easier if you have the EU code for places to scan. But I haven't looked into the latest reports, so don't trust me on that. If you have one or two days before the cruise in Rome you can see for yourself how people react to your vaccination card and then get yourself a QR code if it seems worth it.
