kmcqueen Posted February 22, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2022 I noticed yesterday that Carnival had changed their pre-cruise testing policy for boosted guests to require a negative test at least 3 days prior to a cruise, rather than the previous 2 day requirement. Today I read a post indicating that Royal Caribbean will also make this change sometime this week. I was just wondering if anyone"in the know" has heard if Regent will also make this change? With us flying in to Miami from Canada it would reduce the number of tests we would have to pay for. I did read the updated CDC policy guidelines and it does appear that they made this clarification a few days ago.
Sunprince Posted February 23, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2022 Yes, but unless the US government required entry test changes (currently 24 hours prior to boarding flight), then you might need one for Regent 48-72 hours prior to embarkation) and another one to get on the flight (unless flying in early).
