MSC Seashore Embarkation Time Miami

We received our E-Tickets and have the embarkation time 2pm. Do they check the time or is it possible to arrive at the port for example at 11am?

From the reports I have seen, it is hit or miss.

I was on the 2/26 sailing, just got back.  I was supposed to embark at 1:30PM but showed up at 11:30AM and was able to go right through, it did not appear to me that anyone was checking your ticket for the time slot you were supposed to be in.  There were definitely a decent amount of people coming in at the time as well.

 

FYI, on my sailing, I was told there were about 2000 passengers aboard and that they were slowly ramping that up.
