Cabbage Bach v. Cable Beach

We are cruising this Sunday.  Which beach do you like better and why? We have been to Junkanoo Beach and didn't really care for that.  Looking to do something on our own and then go in town to check out the shops. Is the walkable from the both beaches to town?

 

Last time in Nassau we did Blue Lagoon and then went to town, time before we did Junaknoo Beach.

 

Do both have chairs/umbrellas for rental?

I hear one of the beaches, not sure which one at the moment, is a "shared" beach with Atlantis, meaning the public beach part is rather small. Is that correct?

 

How much is a cab from the pier to both beaches? I assume there is a public entrance for both beaches.

 

So what are the pros/cons?

What beach did you end up going to? How was your trip to them?
