Hotel Recommendations for Pre-Cruise Stay in Tampa?

My family (Husband, 18 yr old stepson, and 7 year old daughter) will be leaving for a cruise in January out of Tampa on the Inspiration. Does anyone have suggestions on a nice hotel in Tampa that we could stay at the evening before departure? Three years ago we stayed in Miami at a hotel where Carnival had a representative and pre-cruise checkin. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

just got done staying at the hyatt regency downtown, nice hotel and got it on priceline for $48. close to pier, good pool and hot tub.

I am going on the Miracle in December and used price line. I was able to get the Hilton for $45.00 a night. I had hoped to get the Marriot , but I am very pleased with what I got. The hotel has s free shuttle from the airport and a shuttle for a fee to the port.
