Camera on Shore Excursions to East Caribbean?

We are leaving for the Eastern Caribbean in a week on the Sun. We are planning on taking the NCL excursion to the Baths in Tortola and maybe to the beach at Cayo Levantado. Does anyone know if it is safe to take a camera on these excursions, or do we have to swim ashore.

I would not bring a camera, unless it was a underwater camera to the Baths. If you are going to hike through the rocks, which is very cool, there are a lot of tight spaces and I would not want to risk damaging the camera.

I stayed on Virgin Gorda and when we ent to the Baths I was happy that I just had the disposable. I am not sure if you swim ashore on the NCL excursion.
