njoyndride Posted February 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2006 Were the hallway doors closed so you couldn't access the cabins until 2pm or did they just hand out info saying that was when you could get in your cabin? We want to board early and head back out to OSJ but also want to drop off some things in our cabin first. On our previous cruises we've been allowed to just throw things in the closet etc. and then leave while they are still servicing the cabin. Jeepers385 Posted February 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2006 When we sailed this past October they did not open the doors until 2:00 and that was on Deck 7. Even if you don't get into your room until 2:00 you'll still have time to go into OSJ. Debbie
Hypo Posted February 24, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2006 Last Summer on AOS, the doors were closed, but if you will stand by the nearest door and nicely ask the first staff member you see if you could drop your luggage in your room. They have always said yes to us. If you do, make sure you let the cabin steward working in that area know it is your luggage, and not some luggage that was left by the previous passengers. Zzrox we did almost what you did. Got on by 11:50, made reservations for the spa, had lunch, sat at the pool bar with other CC friends and by the time we were done yapping it was time for the doors to open and off we went to our room.
