JFontaine Posted March 22, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 22, 2022 No fee if you use on board credit or if you are in a high level of the Blue Chip Club.
micruiser2002 Posted March 22, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2022 You can also charge to your room on the slot machines and then just cash out the ticket.

Used OBC and was charged 5%. Not in Blue Chip Club so can't comment on that.

No need to be a very high level, ONYX is enough (2500 points). Otherwise 5% even when using OBC. The exception is when you're a MGM Rewards member and have that liaison attached to the booking.
JFontaine Posted March 22, 2022 #7 Share Posted March 22, 2022 I used OBC in February ten times on the Edge, $100 each time (slots) and had no service charge. The slot machine showed the $100 credit each time. I am not a Blue Chip member (my mom is Sapphire).

If so, the fee is waived. Also, the fee is waived for Suites as well.
micruiser2002 Posted March 22, 2022 #9 Share Posted March 22, 2022 If you use the slot machines to charge to your room there is no service fee for anyone.

Just don't give it to your mom, being Sapphire she would run through that quickly. 🙂

She's 94 years old, and plays video poker ($1 and $5, times 5) so quickly that by the time my brain registers her hand she's on the next. And she loves every minute. The adrenaline has been a fountain of youth! So grateful

If she's doing this at 94 that's better than anything that claims is "good for seniors". Add a gin tonic per day as the Queen would say!
